WORLANDA HOME

Lockhart

This house is conceived as a contemporary reinterpretation of Craftsman and rustic styles, in which robust volumes and multi-pitched roofs create a dynamic architecture with a strong visual presence. Its design establishes an organic relationship with the natural environment, using a material palette that evokes the solidity of traditional architecture with a clean and modern execution.

The façade is notable for its use of overlapping horizontal cladding in deep navy blue, which contrasts elegantly with a perimeter base of light-colored carved stone. This combination is enhanced by natural wood details in the shutters and exposed structural elements, such as the truss-style beams of the porches, adding warmth, texture, and a human scale to the composition.

The architectural details—from the stone columns supporting the main entrance to the large windows with white frames—reinforce a sense of timeless elegance. The result is a residence with a strong architectural identity, designed to offer a comfortable and spacious living experience while maintaining a visual connection with the serenity of the surrounding landscape.
